DineOut People's Choice Awards 2012

Back for another year, there's some quality restaurants and cafes in the nominations queue!

It's just over a month till the last of the votes (reviews) for the DineOut People's Choice Awards 2012 are counted and the winners announced. There's a good mix of previous winners and new entrants, with Christchurch showing the greatest mix of new entrants.

Reviews accepted between July 2011 and the end of June 2012 are considered votes. Your vote is weighted by the number of reviews you have submitted and every single review counts. Listings must have received at least 10 reviews in the 12 months to be nominated, and currently there are over 30 establishments with an average score over 8 for the past 12 months with 10+ reviews.

So, if you have been sitting on a review, get it in now! If you have been meaning to visit somewhere that's been recommended to you, now is the time to book a table! This is the only award that is 100% down to your opinion rather than a panel of judges, and one that relies on the restaurant to be on their game for a whole year rather than a single meal to qualify. Winners of our award are truly exceptional.
