Went for lunch recently. Very hard to rate as it was a set lunch so difficult to give a score based on one dish, although there was an assortment of items. First I have to say it is well set out with the hotplates and chef in the middle with we the customers sitting around. I had the Bento Box which had the obligatory miso then the main with a lot of sushi, sashimi, teppenyaki chicken, unagi donburi, and pickles. Some of the fish was a little bland even with the soya to revive it but overall very nice. I must admit I had food envy of the teppenyaki set menu that had a lot more emphasis on the beef and chicken, but there is always next time. Value for money a 9
Was a nice evening out, we were able to have a table booked in front of the cooks so we could watch it all being made which was great. The service was great, they were friendly and helpful and the wait for the food wasn't long even though it was a Friday night. We ordered the Torikatsu which was a crumbed chicken which was really nice dipped in the sauces and Shifudo & Niku with the Ostrich which was delicious.
